X9100

X9100-GSM/GPRS Telemetry Engine

The X9100-GSM Telemetry Engine is a low cost, M2M, universal GSM/GPRS Engine which can transmit and receive serial analogue, digital and pulse counter data to any device connected to the GPS/GPRS network such as mobile phones, PC’s and other X9100-GSM Telemetry Engines.

Features

  • Direct connection to the GPRS/GSM Network without the need for external AT Instructions.
  • Transparent Serial Data Tunnelling using low cost SMS Messaging or GPRS network.
  • Remote Configuration by SMS Messages.
  • Simulator to test the configuration without expensive call time.
  • 1 Serial Port , RS232 and Logic Levels.
  • 8 Digital Inputs can send Alarm Messages by SMS or GPRS.
  • 4 Pulse Counter Inputs, 32 Bit.
  • 8 Digital Outputs.
  • 4 Analogue Inputs. (10 bit resolution).
  • 1 Real Time Clock for Watch Dog SMS or GPRS.
  • PC Programming Interface.
  • 128K FRAM Memory.
  • DIN Rail Mounted.
  • PC Monitoring and Logging Software.
  • Photographs can be emailed in response to a local alarms or SMS messages. (Option).
  • Size: 68mm by 77mm by 25mm.
  • Power supply 6V to 16V.or 24V
  • 12V Battery Charger Output (Option)

Security
The X9100-GSM Engine can email a Photograph to an email address stored in the unit. An input can be used to triggered the camera and transmit an image. This can also be achieved in response to a text message.

Monitoring and Control
The X9100-GSM Engine can send and receive digital alarms, analogue values and pulse counter totals using low cost SMS messaging. Both negative and positive edges from digital inputs can trigger unique messages. Analogue thresholds can be set on each input to trigger different text messages. The two analogue outputs can be set using a value sent in a text message.

Data Logging.
The X9100-GSM Engine can be configured to store values from the analogue inputs at preset times or when the value changes by a pre-set amount. The data is stored in the 128K Flash Memory and either down loaded on request or at pre-set times.

Energy Metering .
The 8 digital inputs can be configured to 8 pulse counter inputs. The current value of each counter can be transmitted using SMS Messages at pre-set times or when a value has been exceeded.

GSM Base Station Location

The nearest mobile mast to the proposed installation of any X9100-GSM intallation can be located by using the following Web Site:

www.sitefinder.ofcom.org.uk

Simply enter the location or Post Code and the Base Stations nearest to the site will be identified as blue triangles. Click on the blue triangle and the Operator and exact position will be displayed.
